Your main responsibilities are
Perform field service activities in accordance with the long-term service agreement needs and the established work plan. Actively support the Project Team during the commissioning of battery energy storage systems and related equipment. Address technical and operational issues at customer installations promptly, report these issues, and propose product improvements to meet quality and cost targets. Maintain and enhance relationships with customers through effective communication and service. Prepare and present analytical service reports that include conclusions and recommendations for planned and unplanned maintenance resolving technical issues faced by customers. Serve as a local technical advisor in customer meetings as required. Generate service work reports and maintain accurate documentation related to site visits or customer interactions. Commit to being on service jobs for at least 50% of the year to ensure hands-on resolution of issues and customer engagement.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have the following:
Desired Education
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience Must have valid A Grade NSW electrical license.
The position is based in Sydney Australia.
With valid driver’s license. Willingness to travel. Applicants must be authorised to work in Australia without sponsorship. Relocation is not applicable for internal employees.
Desired Skills And Experience
2-4 years’ experience with battery energy storage systems and/or renewable energy, power systems design and communication networks.
In-dept knowledge of:
LV and MV Systems Energy Management System, EMS Battery module, preferred with CATL battery background Inverter technology, preferred with PE or SMA inverter background Online Platform Communication Systems Industrial networks and protocols (Modbus TCP, Profibus, CAN-bus, CIP, ethernet/IP, Control NET, etc.) PLC and Control systems PV Systems Protection relays Variable frequency drives HVAC, Chillers Fire Alarm and Suppression System Advance programming of firewalls and routers AS/NZS 3000:2018 Electrical installations Installation, Maintenance, Troubleshooting & Commissioning experience
Additional Skills:
Detail oriented with a project management mindset Good collaboration skills Knowledgeable in MS Office applications, WS Word, WS Excel, MS Power Point Excellent report writing skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills
