Reporting to the Service Manager the Field Service Engineer is responsible for post sales service support, including system/solution implementation.  The Service Engineer is someone who has a passion for success — on the job and beyond with a drive to complete a job to a high standard. Managing expectations is crucial so having strong interpersonal skills is crucial when taking care of Customers. They are open to developing and being challenged, thrives under pressure and continually seek to improve.  In this role you will be ideally located along the M4 Corridor - West London/Reading/Slough/High Wycombe area. This is a remote field based role.

In this role, a typical day will look like:
•    Installing and commissioning new Videojet solutions 
•    Maintaining and Servicing Videojet’s customers base of Videojet equipment 
•    Working closely with sales to support Videojet trials and demonstrations 
•    Maintaining and growing customer relationships through excellent customer service 

•   Experience with hand tools, power tools and testing equipment

The essential requirements of the job include: 
•    Willingness to travel up to 4-6 days per month (nights away from home)
•    Field service experience in an electronic/mechanical/electrical/engineering industry would be advantageous
•    Experience on Inkjet, CIJ, Label Print & Apply, Large Character Marker and laser coding would be a plus but not essential
•     Industry engineering experience, hands on mechanical and/or electrical would be advantageous
