Job Description

Position Summary:

As a Field Service Engineer (FSE) at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will be accountable for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of our systems and instruments in customers' laboratories. This field-based role primarily supports customers in South Poland, with occasional assignments in other regions or European countries.

Responsibilities:

Provide services within the framework of internal guidelines and customer processes.Deliver diagnostics, installation including basic customer training, preventative maintenance (PM), repair services, verification, and qualification services expertly and timely.Document quality assurance measures, including IQOQ, OQPQ, CSV, etc.Offer telephone support and failure analysis to optimize the use of Thermo Fisher Scientific equipment.Independently plan and coordinate work processes in collaboration with various internal and external contacts.Prepare regular reports on activities, such as service reports, installation reports, and expense reports.Undertake special interpersonal tasks (e.g., PM Coordinator, Calibration SPOC).

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Completed technical or scientific vocational training, preferably in electrical or medical technology, or a comparable qualification.A degree as a state-certified technician or engineer is desirable.Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve personal and team goals.Positive demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills in Polish, with a good command of English.Strong digital skills are critical.High willingness to travel and work from a home office.Valid driving license.
