The key aims of the role are,

Planning and Implementation of all the retrofits/maintenance & overhauling of products at Customer siteSecure product performances by monitoring and implementing the containment actions, troubleshooting etc .Having regular meeting with customer for the product performance and getting it sign-off on periodic basis as per the contractual requirementsImprove Customer response time  Cost Effectiveness by improving efficiency during warranty intervention, preventive and corrective maintenance, overhauling

Main tasks

Deliver warranty services from delivery of the product to the end of warranty periodSupport during the commissioning of the Product/System on train and LocomotiveExecute all Field scheduled operations (retrofit, overhaul, maintenance etc.) in order to meet FT objectives and Customer requirementsProvide support to Engineering & Quality team for effective problem solvingEnsure availability and use of special tools for Warranty & Customer supportEnsure availability of Spares for 0km and Warranty service and efficiently manage site inventory required for maintenance and overhaulEnsure feedback of field experience at all stages to improve reliability of the productsChallenge Customer’s claim and establish authenticity of customer warranty claimResponsible of EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) organization & deployment

Participate actively in QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) process & Failure Reporting Analysis & Corrective Action System (FRACAS)

Periodic reporting of the open points of Customer and follow ups till the action is closed.

​Should have good academic background in electrical/electronics. Qualification should be Degree or Diploma in Electronics Engineering. He Should have the minimum experience of 4-6 years of working as Service engineer

Should have good technical understanding of electrical and pneumatic circuits. Relevant rolling stock experience is preferableShould have very good communication skill in English and Hindi/Regional languageFlexible attitude to work in changing environmentPresentation skillsReady to travel frequentlyStrong analytical skillsIT literate and fully conversant with all Microsoft office applicationsCustomer oriented
