Job Description
As a Field Service Engineer, you will provide system support and troubleshooting for both off-the-shelf and custom packaging and material handling equipment. This includes working with conveyors, robotics, autonomous vehicles, sorters, barcode scanners, vision systems, printers, custom packaging equipment, and control systems. You will perform preventative maintenance tasks during busy seasons to ensure optimal equipment performance and support lean projects and drawing updates on AutoCAD during the off-season. Additionally, you will design, fabricate, and assemble tools, fixtures, and equipment to support continuous improvement efforts and assist in documenting and implementing safety programs.

You will be working in a research manufacturing center within a heavily automated facility. From May to December, your working hours will be an 8-hour first shift from Monday to Friday. During the busy season from January to April, you will work the second shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM from Monday to Friday, with every other Saturday on the first shift. You will collaborate with two other field service technicians and report to the R&D Engineering Manager. The culture is supportive and development-focused, with opportunities to work with R&D Engineers globally, enhancing your resume. Long-term contracts are available with annual pay evaluations in January.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
