Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining access controls, locking mechanisms, air flow, lighting controls, HVAC, and plumbing systems. You will play a key role in ensuring these systems operate smoothly and efficiently.
ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance on all products according to specifications and a predetermined schedule.Provide warranty service and support on all products according to specifications.Provide emergency service and support on all products according to specifications.Review system installations and begin system commissioning.Essential SkillsProficient in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.Field service experience.Experience in HVAC and repair.Competent in reading blueprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum 2 years of field service experience.Minimum 2 years of experience reading blueprints.Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC or plumbing, even if gained as a hobby.Work Environment
This role is primarily based in labs, specifically animal research labs, with customers including universities and pharmaceutical companies. The position involves 75-85% travel, with expenses for flights, hotels, and meals covered by the company. You will be provided with a company vehicle, a small van. Expect to work approximately 400-500 hours annually, with more hours during training. Occasionally, weekend work may be required, but compensatory time off will be provided.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
