Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Job Description

This position involves working with a global leader in automotive testing systems, specializing in emissions test equipment. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, installing, and repairing test equipment at various client sites across the United States, with a primary focus on emissions equipment.

ResponsibilitiesInstall emissions test equipment at various client locations.Diagnose and repair issues within emissions test equipment.Perform preventative maintenance on emissions equipment at client sites.Maintain customer repair facilities, including calibration and repair of monitoring systems.Provide technical assistance to customers, including research and Requests for Quotations.Prepare detailed Field Service Reports for invoicing and warranty charges.Essential SkillsIn-depth knowledge of electronics repair and troubleshooting at the component level.Minimum 2 years of experience working on industrial, automation, or testing equipment.Ability to repair, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic test equipment.Valid driver's license and ability to drive an automobile.Willingness to travel up to 75%, primarily within the Midwest.Ability to work 40 to 55 hours per week.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.
