Overview:
To provide technical service and expertise with the help of a team to existing and potential customers, OCD and service partners in conjunction with the Business Plan goals to meet local customer requirements and customer satisfaction.
Responsible for providing technical and engineering support to ensure maximum productivity of OCD systems. Determines technical solutions in accordance with product and customer specifications. Installs, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment for Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics in accordance with quality systems. At all times with customers and potential customers, acts as an advocate for the organization.
Responsibilities:
Ensure timely resolution/closure of break down calls. Ensure all SOF (Service Order Feedback) are being recorded to MXP/LN.
Reporting OCD product complaints within 24 hours of awareness.
Ensure upgrades and modifications are performed in designated territory within the specified time frame.
Supports the sales effort of system and service offerings, including customer training, system trials, demos
Ensure timely execution of preventative maintenance installation of instruments in designated territory.
Feedback of spare parts usage to ensure accurate and minimum spare parts inventory holding.
Compliance with all the applicable regulations and OCD policy
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education or Equivalent Experience Required/Preferred
BS Engineering Graduate
Electronics Technician Graduate
Minimum Years of Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required/Preferred
(Include any required computer skills, certifications, licenses, languages, etc.)
0–4 years of experience as a Field Engineer in the medical devices industry
Effective engineering communication skills
Strong IT knowledge, customer service skills, and a service-minded attitude
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to build customer relationships and solve problems with strong analytical capabilities
Time management skills, with the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
Teamwork-oriented, with a good personality, positive attitude, and hardworking nature
Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
Computer literacy and a good understanding of IT networking
Willingness to travel within the Philippines, including overseas travel
Ability to work independently under pressure and time constraints with minimal supervision
Strong presentation skills and proficiency in spoken and written English
Possession of a valid driver's license
