Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer with an electrical engineering education or experience who is enthusiastic about traveling both nationally and internationally . This role offers a long-term opportunity to gain valuable experience and grow within the company. We are looking for entry level to 3 years of experience candidates with a degree in electrical engineering or electro-mechanical technology, who have hands on experience in internships, projects or school.
Responsibilities
+ Provide field service support for company machinery, traveling nationally and internationally as required.
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance.
+ Utilize AC/DC, mechanical, and electrical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
+ Maintain excellent customer service standards while interacting with clients.
+ Work with PLCs to troubleshoot, wire machines, and handle components such as solenoids, valves, and piping.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
+ Ability to travel extensively, sometimes for extended periods.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
+ Basic electrical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous field service experience is preferred but not required.
+ Experience with fluid delivery systems is a plus.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Mechanical hobbies or hands-on experience with electrical or mechanical systems is advantageous.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wheaton, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
