Job Title: Field Service Engineer Job Description - Servicing and Starting of Plants - Programming of Systems - SCADA and PLC - Assisting in Producing Details of Specifications and Designs - Working with Other Professionals, Inside and Outside the Engineering Industry Some daily tasks in this role include: -- Site review to determine status of control systems at treatment facilities -- Instrument and control troubleshooting at customer sites -- SCADA (Human Machine Interface) programming using special tools developed for this type of programming -- PLC Programming -- Computer systems troubleshooting -- Network troubleshooting -- Report writing Hard Skills + industrial equipment + mechanical equipment + automation / PLCs Job Type This is a contract position with a duration of 10 Year(s). Work Environment Candidate will be splitting time between customer sites and working from home. Customer sites are plants that have industrial equipment - mainly Waste Water plants. This person will be traveling in their own vehicle around 50% of the time. They work at plants from Maine to West Virginia and as west as Pittsburgh - however, most of the work will be local in New Jersey. Candidate will be eligible for mileage reimbursement and all work-related expenses. The company is a small tight-knit team with only 4 employees. This field technician would be the 5th hire and would work closely with the owner for the first few months on the job. They would go to client sites for hands-on training.
