MED Institute is currently accepting applications for a Field Service Engineer. This position is responsible for various aspects of servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment in interventional magnetic resonance imaging (iMRI) suites.

Responsibilities Coordinate and implement all phases of service and maintenance activities related to iMRI suites for MED and its clients.  Interact and communicate well with team members and clients.Interface with vendors.Provide exceptional customer service to clients, while setting clear expectations, meeting commitments, and resolving issues as they arise.Work independently and solve problems, utilizing all available tools and resources. Maintain well-controlled documentation, including written protocols and reports, data forms, and laboratory notebooks. Qualifications B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) or similar technical discipline required with a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a related field.Hard-working, enthusiastic, detail-oriented person with strong written and verbal communication skills, record-keeping and interpersonal skills.Will be working in a team setting and must be willing to be trained.  Strong hands-on skills and electrical and mechanical abilities.Previous MRI experience/knowledge preferred.Ability to travel 75% or more.Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
