May need to support practices outside of normal region depending on need*** The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for: + Daily logging of tasks and activities via JIRA Service Desk + User and device onboarding + Providing end user support for various applications + Participation in team meetings and collaboration for upcoming projects + Providing onsite support for hardware and software upgrades + Providing prompt and courteous resolution to user requests and issues + Providing security, compliance and HIPAA checks at all practices In order to qualify, you must have: + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or closely related field + MCSA, A+ , CISSP desirable + Knowledge of HIPAA, compliance, and electronic medical record systems helpful + Knowledge of physician practice management systems and workflow helpful + Minimum 3 years’ experience with PC hardware and software, printers, notebooks, Macs, iPads, and mobile devices + Experience supporting Windows 10 and macOS + Experience with Active Directory + Experience with security and protection tools, antivirus and malware detection and removal + Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, VPN, Wi-Fi + Knowledge of Windows Server, VMware, and Citrix desirable + Knowledge of JIRA helpful + Knowledge of Cisco Meraki network gear as well as switches, routers, and firewalls desirable + Must own a reliable car and be able work remotely and independently + Local travel: up to 90% + Must be able to lift 50lbs Boston Children’s Hospital offers competitive compensation and unmatched benefits, including a rotating days/evenings and week-end schedule, affordable health, vision and dental insurance, generous levels of time off, 403(b) Retirement Savings plan, Pension, Tuition Reimbursement, cell phone plan discounts and discounted rates on T-passes (50% off).
