Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for Field Service Engineers to help install semiconductor equipment and directly interact with customers to discuss and troubleshoot any issues or escalations that might arise. This role involves having safety conversations with customers, expressing complex concepts, and summarizing maintenance tasks. It requires a high level of attention to detail and a mechanical knowledge base to follow documented procedures, understand their purpose, and document progress.

ResponsibilitiesPerform installations, preventative maintenance, and remedial repair maintenance on complex electronic/electro-mechanical semiconductor capital equipment.Assist in customer escalations and manage beta-site projects.Create and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through advanced customer service skills, implementing fast quality responses to both internal and external customers while maintaining a safety-first mentality.Develop action plans for problem resolution and be able to present to internal and external customers.Develop improvements for processes, hardware, and software for continuous improvement of equipment/business operations.Essential SkillsElectro-mechanical troubleshooting experience through BSEE/ME degree, internships, work experience, or hobbies.Knowledge of mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics and how to apply them to equipment and troubleshooting.Ability to travel to Phoenix, AZ for training for 6-8 weeks.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in semiconductor equipment.Work Environment

This position will be on-site at semiconductor facilities, within the fab/cleanroom environment. Shifts include 4:10's (7am/pm-8am/pm), with Front Half: Sun-Wed – Day or Night shift (Wednesday is the rotating day) and Back Half: Wed-Sat – Day or Night shifts (Saturday is the rotating day). There is also a Mon-Fri shift depending on the tool you're working on and business timing. These shifts have a 15% shift differential and 8 hours of built-in overtime at 10%. Travel includes virtual onboarding for a few weeks followed by on-the-job training for 6-8 weeks in Arizona.
