As a Field Service Engineer with The Modal Shop, you will travel to customer sites for installation, maintenance and training on TMS Calibration Systems and provide technical sales support for Calibration System customers. Field Service Engineer will travel domestically and internationally. 

Additional Duties:  

Provides technical/sales support and phone and email coverage for customers, sales representative and direct sales personnel for Calibration Systems. Understands both mechanical and electrical design inputs, both within their area of expertise and outside.  Responsible for coordinating and scheduling travel to customer locations to provide technical assistance, perform routine maintenance and lead product installations/demonstrations and training. Identifies and documents additional sales opportunities for follow up by the Product Manager. Calibrate sensors for output due to vibration, shock, pressure or sound using standard company techniques. Use these calibration techniques along with other standard techniques to perform Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance test of TMS systems to meet customer quality and schedule expectations.Write and modify TMS procedures and forms in the interest of continuous improvement of calibration team operations.Follows safety rules within TMS and complies with all safety requirements while at customer site during installation training or other sales visits.  Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Associates in Engineering/Sciences field or equivalent training.Experience: 1-3 years experience in a technical fieldTravel Requirement: 60-70% travel required domestic and international
