Location: Blandford Forum, Somerset
Salary: Competitive, based on experience (£17.50 - £18.50+ per hour)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:30 + overtime, callouts, and weekends as required
Bonus Scheme: Available
As part of our continued growth, we are looking for skilled Field Service Engineers to join our team.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for independent and confident individuals with a strong background in plant, electrics, hydraulics, and mechanics. The ideal candidate will have:
Relevant qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)Experience in construction plant, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, and transmissionsAbility to diagnose and rectify faults using electronic diagnostic equipmentStrong IT skills and the ability to complete digital reportsA full UK driving licence (and willingness to operate machinery – training provided)Excellent communication and customer service skillsKey Duties and Responsibilities
Service, repair, and maintain plant equipment to manufacturer standardsDiagnose and rectify electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faultsUse our diagnostic software (training provided)Identify and report defects while upselling services (with financial incentives for referrals)Complete detailed job reports using our tablet systemWork closely with the service and parts departmentFollow Health & Safety procedures and complete risk assessmentsWhy Join Us?
