Field Service Engineer

The Field Service Engineer plays a key role in performing on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of systems to support our customers. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Perform measurements for basic maintenance activities in line with Emerson maintenance strategies; Conduct system installations, including firmware updates; Troubleshoot and resolve basic system issues based on standard diagnostics; Carry out replacements and repairs on standard equipment; Provide remote support via phone and email through the service desk; Maintain a strong focus on safety and health, ensuring continuous improvement in work practices.

You are a hands-on professional with a technical mindset, eager to solve problems and provide excellent service to customers. You have strong attention to detail, follow safety protocols, and manage tasks efficiently. You thrive in a field environment and enjoy working both independently and collaboratively.

For This Role, You Will Need:

1-3 years of experience in Field Service Engineering; An engineering degree (MBO-4 level) or equivalent experience in a related field; Strong knowledge of PC hardware and MS Windows software; Familiarity with Emerson divisions and products; Excellent personal administrative skills (e.g., timesheets, reporting); Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English; Relevant safety training and knowledge of safety procedures;

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

Background in industrial maintenance or troubleshooting; Strong verbal and written communication skills in French would be preferred;  Additional technical certifications related to field service or automation.
