You will have the chance to work with brand-new technology and collaborate with hardworking professionals dedicated to making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.** **Job Responsibilities** **As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:** **Site inspection and analysis of the required specifications to determine suitable solutions for the installation of diagnostic systems** **Setup Middleware** **Configuration and technical support for the Software House for instrument interfacing Management of quality procedures related to pre-sales activities** **Customer support in handling reports Management of technical interventions (preventive maintenance and repair interventions)** **problem-solving (Technical/application) and customer request/ complaints resolution** **Interface support** **Research, analyze, evaluate, and formulate recommendations to improve specifications and application procedures Spare parts continuously** **warehouse management: a monthly review of car stock and any warehouses, and maintenance of minimum defined stocks for each spare part** **Management and closure of Work orders, Cases, Complaints** **Management and closure of Service Contracts** **Planning of interventions concerning the Service Max quality manual Management and updating of the digital archive related to installations/maintenance/intervention** **Job Requirements** **Preferred educational qualification: degree in engineering** **.** **Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle technical and application issues.** **Experience in managing quality procedures and technical documentation.** **Excellent communication and training skills.** **The ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.** **Dedication to continuously improve processes and provide outstanding customer support.** **region to cover: centre of Italy - Rome, Firenze as preferred working locations** Thermo Fisher Scientific is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.
