Field Service Engineer Job Category: Engineering and Technical Support Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25% Type of Travel: Continental US Anticipated Posting End: 5/30/2025 **The Opportunity:** CACI has the opportunity to bring on a Field Service Engineer III Depot Maintenance Actions (DMA) who applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve problems by interpreting Air Force Technical Orders, vendor manuals or similar documents. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of satellite tracking station circuits and in selecting the proper tools and test equipment to perform that work. Provides technical guidance, as required to lower level field service technicians, work is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices. **Responsibilities:** + Provide engineering and implementation support for modifications performed on multiple systems in support of the Satellite Control Network (SCN). + Provide as-built updates to drawing and technical order changes for submittal to Configuration Change Boards (CCB). Coordinate with other departments to determine impact caused by the modification. + Understands and interprets electrical and mechanical drawings. Applies technical knowledge of electronic principles. + Interface with Government Project Officers (GPO) for project assignments, logistics funding, and provide project reporting. + Perform requirements analysis. Gather related technical documentation and coordinate with requestor, GPO and other parties to determine requirements. + Prepare Engineering Change Proposals. Determine sparing considerations, disposition of removed materials and equipment, ensure affected or new drawings and Technical Orders are identified. + Prepare Technical Data Package redlines. + Perform project installations to include equipment installation and testing. + Troubleshoots and corrects malfunctions using specialized test and diagnostic equipment. + Prepare final technical package for incorporation and perform project closure activities. **Qualifications:** + Typically requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and at least seven years of related experience. + 5+ years of preforming on an installation and depot maintenance team. + Proven track record performing a wide variety of complex activities associated with installing, maintaining and servicing electrical/electronic/mechanical equipment. + Experience understanding and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings. - **________________________________________________________________________________________** **What You Can Expect:** **A culture of integrity.** At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
