Field Service Engineer Czech

We are looking for an additional Field Service Engineer to join our Technical Service Team in Czech as soon as possible to support our clients on-site. We are particularly seeking candidates in the south of Czech close to borders.
The primary function of this role is to plan, coordinate and execute preventive and corrective maintenance of our filling machines to ensure the effective operation of the SIG line equipment. With your excellent customer relations skills and your expert qualification to perform mechanical adjustments, troubleshoot and repair control systems you will act as an ambassador for SIG Group to ensure a good relationship to our customers and high customer satisfaction. Furthermore, you will promote the improvement of line performance and efficiency as part of our continuous improvement methodology.
Key responsibilities Installs and repairs filling and packaging machines, in-field installations Carries out routine scheduled maintenance work and responds to equipment faults Diagnoses breakdown problems and analyze malfunctions Fits new parts and makes sure equipment is working correctly Deals with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs Documents all inspections, maintenance, service work, and submits paperwork in a timely basis Studies blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to install/set up machines or machine upgrades Consults with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation and maintenance Advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for improvements Comply with and ensure compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies
You bring these skills, experience & education Successfully completed vocational training as a technician in electrical engineering or mechatronics another technical qualification Strong foundational knowledge in electrical engineering or automation technology, preferably in the food and beverage industry or packaging industry Experience in managing software updates, troubleshooting of distributed automated systems and mechanical equipment Experience with installation and maintenance of process control systems (PLC, LMS, MES, Industrial PC, Microsoft Server, switches, network, etc.) Willingness to travel 100% during the week within Europe (mainly in Czech, Slovakia & Hungary) Strong customer orientation and communication skills Independent and quality-conscious work approach Valid car driving license Good written and spoken Czech as well as English language skills required
