Job Title : Field Service Engineer (for X-Ray Inspection)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Installation, fulfill preventative maintenance and general upkeep of the tool performance.

Troubleshooting all tool errors and making appropriate tool repairs.

Liaise and schedule assigned service activities with the customer and ensure ZEISS Service Management, Customer Interaction Center, as required.

Tests, validation, and documentation of system (and software) capability and shortcomings.

Complete all necessary forms and reports in support of department and company data collection efforts such as but not limited to, expense reports, service reports, quality reports, etc. in prescribed timeframe as established by management.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Master’s degree in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or similar.

A minimum of 3 years related working experience in semiconductor industry.

Experience in using different kinds of lab equipment, such as dose meter, basic mechanical tools.

Experience in trouble shooting for a prototype system.

Relevant experience in X-ray / CT industry.

Experience with ZEISS x-ray systems and/or ZEISS evaluation software is a plus.

Experience in customer-facing communication

Other skills

Good hands-on skills, have willingness to test and use early-stage hardware & software, also in front of customer.

Self-motivated and open-minded with a high degree of responsibility.

Strong teamwork spirit.

Good English written and oral skills.

Ability to build strong collaborative relationship with customers.

Willingness for international travel. (US, EU, TW) up to 80% working time
