Your Role:As a Field Service Engineer, you will provide on-site support for customers by installing, maintaining, and repairing multi-vendor (non-Agilent) laboratory instrumentation, including HPLC, UV, and Dissolution instruments. Your expertise in troubleshooting and optimizing equipment will ensure uninterrupted lab operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and optimize laboratory hardware, software, and network systems at customer sites.
Diagnose and resolve instrument performance issues efficiently.
Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repairs on a variety of analytical instruments.
Advise customers on preventive maintenance and best practices to maximize equipment performance.
Proactively address potential equipment issues to prevent workflow disruptions.
Deliver integrated solutions, including peripherals, communications, operating systems, and application software.
Train customers and fellow engineers on instrumentation use and troubleshooting.
QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
1+ years of experience in a similar field service role or as an end-user of analytical instruments.
Hands-on experience with LC, HPLC, UV, and Dissolution instruments.
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
Knowledge of service delivery in the pharmaceutical market.
English proficiency with clear verbal and written communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and U.S. visa.
Willingness to travel, including overnight stays, to support customers.
