Field Service Engineer I – Commercial Fire Products – UAE Nationals Only
As a Commercial Fire Field Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving sales and market development for fire protection products aimed at commercial applications. This position requires strong technical knowledge of fire safety products, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and industry stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
· Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of commercial fire protection products, including fire alarms, suppression systems, and fire safety equipment, to effectively communicate benefits to customers.
· Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and workshops, effectively communicating the benefits and features of building management systems to prospective clients.
· Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to clients during the sales process, ensuring appropriate application of FIRE products to meet customer requirements. Remote and On-Site Field Supports to resolve Customer reported Technical Issues.
· Training and Support: Conduct Technical training sessions for clients and sales teams on product features, installation, and regulations related to commercial fire safety products.
· In-Service Issue Resolution: Efficient Case Reporting, creation, Response, Resolution, Feedback / Surveys.
· New Products Entry Into Service: Co-ordinate with Offering, Share Alpha and BETA feedbacks, prepare Technical Support and Training Plans.
· Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing timely and informative follow-up.
· Compliance Awareness: Stay current with regulations, industry standards, and best practices in fire safety to advise clients appropriately.
· Collaboration: Work closely with Pre-Sales, Sales, Offering, Engineering and product development teams to relay customer feedback and assist in the improvement of existing products or the development of new offerings.
· Client Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with potential and existing channel partners, End-users.
Work Environment:
· Primarily office-based with frequent visits to customer sites for consultations, Field Supports and demonstrations.
· Some travel may be required to attend trade shows, conferences, or client meetings.
Key skills and qualifications
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
· Experience: Experience through internship, in sales engineering, technical support, or a related field, preferably working with Fire systems or similar technologies would be an added advantage.
· Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess customer needs and recommend suitable products.
· Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with commercial fire safety regulations, systems, and product features.
