Field Service Engineer I (TECPro)

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Field Service Engineer I, you will be joining our Lifecycle Solutions & Services (LSS) business. LSS focuses on providing customers with maintenance and modernization services. The Field Service Engineer acts as the primary face of Honeywell for the customer and is accountable for the daily implementation, administration and troubleshooting of the Honeywell HPS products installed at the customer location. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Represent Honeywell at our customer sites. • Travel 25-50% of your time to be on location at customer site. • Dedicate yourself to training and development plan to grow your skills. • Perform Standard/Routine Site Audits. • Conduct basic corrective maintenance support. • Troubleshoot Network Connections and Equipment (including switches and ethernet connections). • Troubleshoot computer (server/workstation) and peripheral hardware and software. • Team up with our Global Technical Support to close customer issues. • Escalate customer issues thru the Field Service Manager and Service Operations Leader. • Execute Work Orders per assignment and closeout with report. • Promote project activity to include: o Hardware design/configuration o Experion configuration and tag building o Logic configuration Location(s) Available: • Denver, CO • Salt Lake City, UT, • Duluth, GA, • Birmingham, AL • Baton Rouge, LA • Maine, OH • Chicago, IL • Ohio/Maine/Kentucky • Calvert City, MO •Houston, TX The annual base salary range for this position is $78,000.00/yr - $89,500.00/yr. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Engineering • Must have graduated or graduating from an accredited college or university between September 2024 and July 2025 and be available to begin full-time in August of 2025 • Must have obtained degree within 12 months of the start date • Valid driver's license. • Willingness and ability to travel 25-50% of time. • Strong written and verbal communication skills must be able to clearly articulate messages both technical and non-technical. • Self-motivation and willingness to work in demanding environments with little or no supervision and take initiative to be proactive. WE VALUE • Experience with Experion PKS Hardware & Software. • Experience with Safety Control Systems. • Experience with Experion MX QCS Hardware & Software. • Experience with Honeywell Legacy Systems – TDC and TPS system experience including LCN, UCN, and Hiway equipment. • Experience with PC/Networking Equipment. • Experience with 3rd Party (i.e. non-Honeywell) Control Systems. • Experience in Virtualization hardware/software, setup and network configuration. • Experience Migrating Control Systems. • Experience working with Operator HMI. • Knowledge of Open Systems such as Microcomputers and Networking Technologies. • Honeywell Training Certificates.
