Role Purpose:
The Field Service Engineer will maintain customer satisfaction, provide both verbal and on-site customer support and verify/approve the operational quality of Johnson Johnson Orthopaedics robotic equipment.
What you will be doing:
Servicing throughout the UK with regions being assigned once more FSE’s are onboarded.Independently and proactively liaise with customers and service co-ordinators to schedule and perform required preventive and corrective maintenance, service bulletins as required in the field at customer sitesPerform preventative and routine maintenance on returned equipment at the service centre in Leeds when required.Attend international forums regarding updates of issues arising in JJ medtech equipment. Exercise sound judgment and decision making within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.Independently manage work calendar and travel schedule to ensure customer satisfaction and business commitments are met.Serve as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters.Ensure total customer satisfaction therefore facilitating renewals of existing service agreements working with Sales representatives if needed to secure these renewals.Promote the growth of JJ Medtech by partnering with Sales Consultants actively identifying potential sales leads. Strong experience as a technical field service in life services/medical technologies or EBME within hospitals.Excellent communication skills and a positive and engaging demeanor with ability to build rapport with clients.Demonstrated proficiency in the repair, maintenance, operation and clinical use of capital systems and instrumentsProficient in IEC electrical testing regulations (IEC60601-1 IEC62353)Good understanding of hospital access, organizational structure and key players. Good networking skills.Core competencies required for this role:
Demonstrated high degree of technical proficiency, excellent problem-solving skills, and analytical ability.Interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact effectively with customers is necessary.Ability to follow instruction in the form of SOP’s Experience with medical robots and arthroscopic stacks desired but not essential. Proven track record of working independently, making critical decisions with very limited direction.Multiple project and time management skills.What type of mark will YOU make?
