Join our team as a Field Service Engineer and play a key role in commissioning upgrades and technical support of our customers' DeltaV control system. The position includes everything from acting as sales support to installation and configuration, upgrades, preventive maintenance, support and advice.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will be:
Assist in implementing new releases and installing firmware upgrades Perform internal test and customer acceptance tests of the configured control system (HW and Application SW) in-house and at customer sites, as well as commissioning and start-up support. Being responsible for all electrical, mechanical, and administrative work associated with preparing a system for Factory Acceptance Test and associated with addressing non-conformances identified during the process. Perform customer training and advise on power system modeling to ensure the effective use and maintenance of a customer’s power system applications. Provide resolution to sophisticated technical issues and resolve Customer disruptive events, where appropriate coordinating with Emerson Guardian Support (GSC and Product Engineering). You will travel to customers in Norway, but as part of the Nordic co-operation you will also travel outside Norway.Who you are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
Degree in Control & Process Automation or Engineering (Technical School or University). Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a field service engineering role with focus on instruments within process industry.Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Knowledge of DeltaV and / or experience in industrial IT such as virtual platform, Windows, network, it is an excellent advantage. Both Norwegian and English knowledge at a proficient level. Driver's license B. Excellent communication skills, able to maintain high level of personal credibility in front of customers and colleagues.
