EFI is looking for Field Service Engineers to join our team in the US, preferably in the Chicago, IL region. These are remote roles that will require regular travel to our customer bases, specifically focused on our Nozomi single-pass digital printing product line.
What you will do:
Provide on-site installation and setup of all printers associated with the Inkjet product linesGive initial and ongoing formal customer operator and printer maintenance training;Provide periodic on-site troubleshooting and repairs on printers that may be experiencing complex electrical, mechanical or pneumatic problemsProvide detailed technical feedback and liaise regularly with our customer call centerProvide service & support to exhibitionsWork remotely with customers to accurately identify equipment issues and provide technical information and repair guidance to pinpoint the necessary solutions to reported issues Participate in after-hours support activities on a rotating basis.This role might be a good fit if you have:
Minimum two-year mechanical/electrical engineering qualificationPrevious work experience in mechanical, digital, and electronic technology highly preferredDemonstrated strong commitment to customer satisfactionVery good knowledge of Microsoft Windows environment.Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems at the component levelKnowledge of large format printers and/or presses and printing applications is desirableKnowledge of inkjet printing, color theoryProven ability to provide trainingGood communication skills, team-playerFlexible for traveling within the territory and abroad, on very short notice Fluent in English and local languageThe total compensation for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within the United States.
$60,000-$75,000 USD
The successful candidate's total compensation will fall within the pay range listed above and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Compensation is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
