Learn more about us here (https://youtu.be/17pImBUdFgI) ! **We offer:** + Part-time position with flexible working hours + Professional onboarding and training options + Powerful team looking forward to working with you Reporting to the Sr. Manager Field Service, the **Field Service Engineer (Part-Time)** is responsible for visiting remote and beautiful locations on a regular basis to collect data on river levels and flow. We are looking for individuals that like to get out into the great outdoors, are happy to work independently and are willing to travel the country. OTT Hydromet UK provides valuable insights for experts in water and weather applications to help protect lives, the environment and infrastructure. This is ideally located in the **Highlands, Tayside or Grampian regions** and will be **remote** . **In this role, a typical day will look like:** + Undertaking stream flow measurements at predetermined locations across Northern and Central Scotland + Retrieving data from logger units via a laptop + Completing field service sheets, providing details on the site conditions and data collected + Cleaning and maintaining the monitoring equipment + Submitting data electronically back to our central offices + Valid driving license -you will be required to use your own vehicle for which you will be reimbursed. + We offer training on our software. The work will be distributed on an assignment basis and will vary depending on project requirements, however it is anticipated that initially a minimum 1 week per month be required, with additional work as further projects come online. This is a great opportunity to work independently in the Scottish countryside helping inform and impact key water resource decisions.
