Job Title : Field Service Engineer (REF)
Contract: Regular
Location : Seoul
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Installation, Preventive maintenance (PM) , Corrective Maintenance, and application support for medical devices at customer site and in the Technical Service Room
Provide remote service, includin ZEISS Smart Service and phone-based troubleshooting
Carry out all service activities following the service manual(procedures) and record on Service reports
Be responsible for checking systems and devices to meet technical inspection standard
Review and manage received inspection documents
Communicate effectively with HQ regarding service cases, inspections, and technical issues
Take full ownership of service cases, coordinating with engineering and escalation teams to resolve customer issues effectively
Provide technical support for the product installations, demonstration in exhibitions and academic conferences
Manage service tool calibration and truck stock (own engineer’s stock)
Drive sales of service products for the OPTIME Service Contract.
Support to the sales team to enhance customer engagement and business growth
Collaborate with the Quality Controller to ensure the quality of performed on-site product inspections
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in field service, technical support, or maintenance of medical or precision equipment
Business-level English communication skills
Proven ability to interact professionally and courteously with customers
Strong customer service mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
