The Field Service Engineer for Radiometer is responsible for supporting the needs of our customers, which directly impacts patient health and overall well-being.
This position is part of the Service Organization in New Jersey and will be remote, travelling a territory in and around the central/north New Jersey area. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.
You will be a part of the Field Service Team and report to the Sr. Area Service Manager responsible for troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service repair needs on Radiometer equipment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Install, repair, calibrate, clean and test instruments using logical troubleshooting procedures in a timely manner.
+ Build and maintain positive customer relationships. Review solutions with customers; discuss needs and ensure a safe operation situation.
+ Maintain a field parts inventory, testing devices and tools. Maintain clean and safe working environment at the customer site and in the company vehicle.
The essential requirements of the job include
+ One-year Field Service Engineer or related experience – prefer medical field
+ AS – Technical Associates Degree or Electronic Technology Diploma and/or Military experience .
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ Ability to travel – Up to 30-35% overnight travel, within territory
+ Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
+ Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Proficiency with analyzer network/connectivity setup and support directly to Laboratory Information System/Health Care Information systems.
+ Preferred Comp TI A+ certification.
+ 1 year troubleshooting experience in: Electromechanical, Networking or IT system upgrades.

The hourly range for this role is $32.00/hour - $35.00/hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
