The Field Service Engineer is responsible for performing field service activities on customer sites related to Emerson valves, actuators and regulator products. The role requires to be self-supporting and includes on-site maintenance, troubleshooting problems, performing system diagnostics & analysis and installing new systems & replacing parts.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Perform measurement for maintenance activities in alignment with Emerson maintenance strategies; Perform hardware and software installations on standard equipment; Perform startup and commissioning, troubleshooting and problem solving based on Emerson system diagnostics; Maintain product and application knowledge; Prepare necessary documentation and reporting on executed work that meets professional / customer requirements; Responsible for daily maintenance of equipment; Responsible for aligning with EHS procedures that apply within the organization; Responsible for the quality of the work delivered, the cleanliness of the workplace and the execution of the work in accordance with the (quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental) rules; Prepared to work offshore occasionally. For This Role, You Will Need: Engineering degree (MBO-4 level (NL) Bachelor level (Belgium)) preferred or equivalent experience in related field of experience; At least 1-3 years’ experience in Field Service Engineering; Good knowledge of Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) software, IT systems and PC Hardware; Good verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English; Relevant safety training and knowledge of safety procedures.
