Honeywell’s Field\nService Technicians are responsible for effectively providing services to\nsupport the on-site installation, start-up, maintenance, and operation of\nautomation control systems & advanced manufacturing software applications,\ndrive systems, manufacturing systems, industrial networks and the individual\nproducts which comprise these systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain Honeywell’s suite of (QCS) quality control hardware and software and handle customer questions about the state of the system.Sustain proficiency in all products and services that the company offers. This includes staying current with installation standard methodologies, equipment protocol, and safety guidelines.Provide on-site pre-start-up, start-up, contracted service work, warranty, troubleshooting, and training of Honeywell products, and ensure equipment is operational and free of defects.Accurately document the work that is performed at a customer facility and/or project staging area. Professionally document work completed on periodic preventive maintenance as well as intermittent corrective maintenance tasksHandle customer service-related issues while fostering the customer relationship and working to solve technical problems on site. Deal directly with and communicate effectively with plant operators, plant management, 3rd party vendors and other Honeywell personnel in support of service operationsTroubleshoot and repair equipment applying own technical knowledge and experience to resolve problems. Accurately document the work that is performed at a customer facility and/or project staging area.
