Job Description

Position Purpose

Servicing, account  management, asset protection, auditing and recovery of equipment within defined territory of Distributor locations.

Major/Key Accountabilities

Location Servicing

Location account management: Servicing of D locations to an agreed visit frequency within a specified and assigned geographic area.Building relations with a network of key contacts at these locations to establish and maintain CHEP equipment controls.To train and influence Distributor locations to ensure the CHEP service is delivered, leading to improved customer satisfaction, collection performance, reduced stock growth, reduced equipment losses and subsequently improved profitability for CHEP.Maximizing asset productivity by ensuring CHEP equipment is appropriately used and returned/collected once empty.Control Flow Through Ratio (FTR) at individual Distributor location level by training and regular follow up with staff & management at major D´s.Carry out planned seasonal activities and oriented activities in order to achieve targets on a KPI basis i.e. asset leakage and FTR.

Account Management

Effective management of allocated D groups to targeted asset management performance levels.

Sales

Selling Participating Distributor Agreements to identified D locations.New business opportunities - feedback on market and customer information to relevant teams for new business or competitor infoVisiting and auditing all new locations and negotiating the co-operations with the new D.

Auditing

Execution of all CHEP equipment audit programs to an agreed management process.Agreement on action/improvement plans to improve Distribution locations.

Stray Recovery

Support stray recovery programs by regularly reporting equipment which is sited outside of the pool and arrange recovery against target.

Administration

Daily use of Salesforce contact management system to report all activity, daily use of SAP, BW, excel for report analysis and of outlook

Time Management

The FSE role is a field based position that requires the executive to spend on average 4 days per working week visiting customers in a defined territory.We would expect 20 visits per week – 900 visits per year.
