**Job Title: Field Service Journeyman Millwright** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Field Service Journeyman Millwright to work on various job sites in the oil and gas industry. You could be working out of town 50-70% of the time either staying at home or in provided accommodations. In the field you could be doing new installation of equipment, precision alignments, overhauls, equipment maintenance, and trouble shooting. You will be involved in all aspects of disassembling pumps/compressors, and turbines, cleaning, fixing, grinding, and reassembling them. You will also be dealing with customers and completing administrative documentation. **Responsibilities** + Working in the field for the majority of the time + Completing administrative documentation + Dealing with customers + Assemble all types of pumping equipment to customer, OEM, and industry standard specifications + Disassemble all types of pumping equipment to access, remove, clean, and inspect rotating equipment + Trouble shooting in the field + Remove, clean, and prepare all types of rotating equipment components + Service and rebuild pumps and other rotating equipment with an emphasis on hydraulics and mechanical components + Read and interpret blueprints **Essential Skills** + 5-10 years of experience with industrial pumps, turbines, and rotating equipment + Journeyman Millwright certification + Field service experience + Proficiency in reading blueprints + Leadership experience + Ability to work out of town + Ability to work self sufficiently + Ability to work a flexible schedule **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working with pumps, turbines and rotating equipment + Red Seal Ticket + Previous experience with Syncrude, Suncor, or similar competitors **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a wide range of benefits and opportunities for career growth. The average noise level is between 65-85 decibels, which is quieter than most industrial environments. The schedule changes from week to week, as sometimes there could be work on the weekends. Overtime is available after 8 hours at 1.5x pay, on Saturdays at 1.5x pay, and on Sundays at 2x pay.
