Otis Elevator is seeking a passionate and driven individual to join and lead our maintenance operations and help us continue to provide exceptional service to our customers. The main goal of the role is to provide day-to-day management and training of field staff, including employee selection and development, field training, and safety. This individual will also lead operational efforts, managing costs while ensuring superior customer satisfaction.


On a typical day you will:

Ensure field employee safety and quality of service in your territoryPlan, organize, and manage service field activities to ensure that these activities meet customer needs and company standardsEnsure effective and efficient allocation of available resources such as manpower and materialsConduct field education training with field workforceImprove efficiencies, managing route schedules and callback ratesUnderstand how to provide technical support to field staff, either self-provided or redirected to other expertsAuthorize repair orders and tracking completionLead change toward better efficiency and communication

What you will need to be successful

High school education required; BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience (at least 7 years)Experience working with a team of technicians is requiredLeadership experience is requiredElevator industry experience is desired, but not requiredExcellent communication skills and leadership skills, and the ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environmentStrong computer and technology skills, business acumen and a passion for customer serviceTravel is required within your territory, driver’s license as required for your territory
