Field Service Opportunities | Various Locations!
Johnson Service Group, a nationally recognized staffing firm, is representing our global manufacturing client in their search for multiple Field Service Technicians, Engineers & Leads. In various capacities, these roles will serve as the point of contact for customers as they encounter and proactively/reactively address commissioning efforts, installations, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, etc.

Responsibilities: Execute and supervise the installations of Medium to High voltage power distribution/generation equipment, performing field operations, troubleshoot and repair equipment while performing preventative and corrective maintenance. Hands on execution, and customer point of contact for electrical startups, commissioning, troubleshooting, engineering, design, and repair of power delivery equipment. Specific knowledge of power delivery includes OCB’s, Circuit Breakers, Transformers, Switchgears, Busways, UPS, ATS, PLCs, Relays, Controls, and related equipment. Responsible for technical report writing, material management, quotations, job status reports, customer reports, time sheets, expense sheets, while exercising good judgement in controlling costs and expenditures. Serve as the customer point of contact, communicating regarding delays, repairs, etc.
Qualifications:  Bachelors preferred, but not required for all positions. Prior military experience is a strong plus.   2-5 years in field service work, depending on caliber of role.  Ability to travel 70%, domestically. Preferably based within 1 hour of a major airport. Hands on experience working on/with either motor, drives, generators or transformers. Additional knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, PCBs, switchgears, switches, relays, etc. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics, along with knowledge of testing equipment. Technical skillset in testing/managing power distribution equipment including low/medium voltage breakers, switchgears, relays, circuit breakers and transformers. Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work in the US.
