We are looking for a Field Service Project Manager to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Director, Field Services and will be based in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role.
Location: Ability to travel roughly 50% to locations in the USA as needed.
Role and Responsibilities:
Ensure exemplary safety and performance during site construction and commissioningTrack, manage and execute assigned aspects of Field Service’s Site System Upgrade programCreate and execute project operations budgets and schedulesCreate construction bid documents, SOWs, get bids, coordinate workConduct meetings to coordinate projects, keep agendas, send meeting summariesOn-site coordination to drive projects towards completionReview on-site work and documentation to meet Quality guidelinesCoordination with Field Service technicians to schedule site work, lead work on site as needed, track completion to scheduleAbility to read blueprints and schematics to be able to verify site layout matches designs and meets serviceability requirementsCoordinate with site lead to create pad maps, and other documentationCoordinate with Operations to verify shipments match site BOM and meet critical delivery datesTravel to customer sites to provide planning oversight and coordination as neededCreation and maintenance of department procedures and documentationWork closely with external customers and internal Finance department to develop and deliver project schedulesInterface with Legal and Finance team during contract negotiations to provide timelines, guidance, documentation, and feedbackExperience:
Awareness of safety protocols on job sites, OSHA certified a plusSignificant field experience preferred with an emphasis on electrical up to 480VACFamiliarity with electrical, plumbing, and building codesOn-site construction experience, managing contractors and superintendentsExperience leading a construction teamExperience with Building Departments and AHJ inspectors, permits, etc.Experience managing many stacked, parallel, short-duration projectsRequirements:
