Field Service Representative
**What's the job?** ****The ideal candidate will reside in the Portland, OR area**** The principal function of the Field Service Representative is to coordinate, perform and provide reports regarding on-site inspections. This position also requires technical knowledge of proper application methods for siding and roofing products. Problem solving skills/knowledge while on-site is a must. This position requires the ability to train siding installers and roofers concerning proper installation methods. This position requires the ability to stay calm in sensitive situations while performing inspections or while speaking to customers on the phone. Conduct inspections of residential and commercial structures of roofing, siding and other products as assigned. Prepare and submit detailed reports. Interact with property owners, contractors and builders. The role requires the ability to accurately diagnose reported issues during on-site inspections, demonstrating strong problem-solving capabilities and technical expertise in building envelope systems. Professionalism and composure are essential, particularly when handling sensitive situations. Provide on-site training to contractors as needed, specifically related to warranty repairs and concerns. Complete any additional responsibilities assigned. Administrative duties, including report writing and other assigned tasks, must be completed within established timeframes. + Perform on-site diagnostic inspections of roofing and siding systems, product claims and extended warranties. Operate a drone for inspection data collection. + Provide objective and detailed documentation in preparation of on-site inspection reports. + Complete and maintain the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) required licensing for drone operation. + Coordinate site visits, provide assigned reports/tasks within a timely manner. + Support Portland Quality Lab warranty claim function as assigned. - **What do you bring?** - + A 2-year degree is preferred and/or 4 or more years of roof inspection or roofing experience. + Successful completion of FAA required licensing for drone operation. + Successful completion of HAAG and Working From Heights Safety Training. + Successful completion of driver training as required. **What are our perks?** We provide unique options to fit your unique lives! We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is **$70,000.00** to **$108,000.00** per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is **9%** of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is **$76,300.00** to **$117,700.00** **.** Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee. - - - Why work for us?
