Position Description: Technical Services Contractor
Objective:
The primary objective of this position is to provide technical services support for all installed instruments for local customers within the specified region. This will be done in accordance with the guidelines set by the Customer Support Department and Global System Support.
Employment Type:
This is a contractor role, intended to provide services as needed to cover periods of employee absence such as vacations or sick leave, or to manage increased workload volumes.
Responsibilities:
Perform installation services for all platforms. Participate in local and regional project implementations of instruments, providing technical support and local assistance. Complete preventive maintenance as per the established schedules for all installed platforms. Address customer complaints or requests related to technical service issues. Escalate unresolved problems or cases to second-level support according to established processes. Complete mandatory modifications. Document all cases on the PRISMA system in a timely manner. Maintain control over the physical and PRISMA install base, including installed and de-installed instruments. Follow best practices for spare parts handling, including the management of returnable spare parts for repair. Complete administrative tasks promptly, including e-learning courses, workflow management, instrument placement, and reporting. Actively participate in technical services training.Requirements:
University degree in Technical or Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or Electro Mechanics. Fluent in Spanish with good reading and comprehension skills in English. Proficiency in Windows, Office programs, and other software applications. Basic IT skills. Must own a vehicle. Availability for regular travel, both locally and internationally. Willingness to work after hours when required.Education:
University degree in Technical or Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or Electro Mechanics.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
