Job DescriptionAs Field Service Representative (FSR), you will be responsible for operations, maintenance and administration of one or more Water Production and/or Wastewater Treatment Plant Sites within a specific area or Island. This includes, but is not limited to, operating (start-up, shut-down, monitoring, adjusting, process troubleshooting), routine maintenance (corrective, preventive, inspections, troubleshooting), customer support (communication, engagement and response) and Administration (Process, Inventory, procurement, Maintenance, EH&S, Time Management information Systems) processes and systems.
The FSR (also known as the Operator), is expected to conduct all duties and responsibilities operating and maintaining systems in SWRO based Water Production and/or Wastewater Treatment Systems, with a priority to Health and Safety of him/herself, teammates, the Customer, Contractors, visitors and the Environment. They are expected to be able to act independently and as part of a Team, to maintain Aqua Design Bahamas (ADB) standards for Customer Service, Reliability and Efficiency.
The FSR is the Subject Matter Expert for Plant Operations and Maintenance processes. The FSR position is Non-Exempt and is expected to work overtime occasionally to support the safe and reliable delivery of water services to the Customer.

Duties & Responsibilities Conducting routine (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) checks of the Plant and it’s systems, while collecting data, pictures, readings and recording observations and uploading same in the appropriate physical and/or electronic platforms.Taking timely and appropriate actions to mitigate, address or correct any issues identified during routine checks.Starting, stopping (shutting down), monitoring, changing and analyzing equipment and facilities as required to ensure Operational goals, plans and requirements are achieved, including making timely and appropriate actions to address any issues.Conducting regular Safety inspections to identify potential sources of injury, accident, product loss, equipment damage, environmental release or process failure, reporting the same and initiating steps to correct the sources.Conducting routine checks of systems and equipment, using available tools, instruments and your senses to identify defects (deviations, breakdowns, damage or loss of performance), submitting work requests/orders and leading or assisting maintenance planning and scheduling to address defects.Executing inspection, testing, repair, replacement, adjustment or troubleshooting activities for Corrective and Preventive Maintenance work requests/orders or other maintenance directives in a safe and efficient manner, including participating or leading work planning, safety briefs, materials, parts and tools kitting, workspace preparation, work data recording, housekeeping, WO de-briefing and WO reporting and close out.Conducting routine sampling operations and testing of feed, brine, product and in-process water flows, including (but not limited to preparation and transport of Off Site testing, in-house testing, recording and reporting of results and taking appropriate action based on the data.Participation in supply chain and inventory management process, by identifying required parts, materials, tools and equipment, supporting procurement activities of same, conducting on-island pick-up and transport and delivery, storage and disbursements and tracking, records updating and reporting, as required.
Identifying the need for, working with and oversight of Contractors and Vendors, as required.Housekeeping, maintenance of standards for Site orderliness and organizations and other Facilities Maintenance activities, including, but not limited to, painting and minor building repair.Supporting Site Safety, Security, Environmental and Sustainability standards, policies and procedures Participation in any training, coaching, meetings, stand-downs and, where required, training and coaching Team Members and other Stakeholders in Operational, Maintenance and Administrative systems, processes and procedures.Timely and accurate completion required Administrative and Customer Services tasks, including, but not limited to, input and update of regular reports, Maintenance Management Systems, Process Data Systems, Inventory Management Systems, Safety Management Systems, Time Management Systems, Performance Management Systems, etc.Regular and timely review of and response to communications, including e-mail, messages, memos, letters, SMS, posting and Computer Platforms.Active participation in Safety Management Processes and Procedures, including, but not limited to Safety Briefings, Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analyses, Procedure Review and comment, Work Stoppage, Incident and Concern Reporting, Investigations, Emergency Response and Area and Tool Inspections.Other duties as assignedDemonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams
Ability to provide customers and team members with informal training around operation and maintenance of the systems as well as Site processes and proceduresA commitment to leadership and ability to influence othersA commitment to Safety and the Environment and to act as a leader and champion of same.QualificationsHigh School Diploma (with at least 5 BGCSE’s in “C” or above, inclusive of mathematics and English language) OR tertiary level degree from BTVI, UB or ADB approved institution in Technical, Construction or Business field.At least 3 years experience in a Technical, Vocational, Service or Industrial Environment. Valid Driver’s License
Preferred (if applicable):
Certification in Water Production or Wastewater Treatment Plant OperationProficiency in one or more of the following vocational disciplines: mechanical technician (rotating equipment), electrical technician, instrumentation and control technician.Additional InformationWorking Conditions
