Description:Field Service Representative (FSR) located in Poland to support the Polish Army HIMARS program. This is a two (2) year international unaccompanied assignment, in which the candidate shall serve as the primary point of contact concerning the Polish HIMARS Battalion launcher operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. FSR must be able to identify the need for and conduct of refresher operator and maintainer training using existing training materials.
Additional FSR duties shall include but are not limited to: assistance with launcher preventative maintenance, operational status and configuration of the launchers, tracking and providing status of hardware that has been evacuated to the contractor for repair.
The FSR shall be trained to operate and maintain the MLRS SPORT Test Program Set (MST), Launcher Adapter Group (LAG) and must be familiar with the operations of the MFOM Common Test Device (MCTD), and MCTD Trainer. The FSR shall provide technical training to the FMS customer’s designated personnel who perform operations, troubleshooting, fault-isolation, CCA replacement and munitions testing (MCTD) tasks on a non-interference basis with the designated personnel’s normal duties.
The FSR will also support all training exercises as required.
The FSR shall also prepare and deliver a weekly report to the CLS program manager that outlines technical/repair activities and any supportability issues including failure data.
Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be comfortable presenting and instructing large groups and high level dignitaries and be able to establish and maintain a good working relationship with the customer.
Must be able to obtain an interim security clearance prior to start
This position requires relocation to Grand Prairie, TX for 90 – 120 days for training prior to international assignment.
Basic Qualifications:
-Must be able to obtain an interim security clearance prior to start
-Must be willing to deploy
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Good computer skills to include Microsoft Office products and internet navigation capabilities
-Must be able to establish and maintain a good working relationship with the customer
-Must possess a detailed understanding of the MLRS M270A1 or HIMARS system to include: Fault isolation, diagnostics, and repair of MLRS M270A1/HIMARS electrical, hydraulic/mechanical systems experience.
Desired Skills:
-Prior military instructor experience
-The ideal candidate would be a prior service 94P with demonstrated leadership and teaching abilities.
