Field Service Representative

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Field Service Representative you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Training Specialist joining our team to increase the combat effectiveness of mortars in the U.S. Army and Marine Corps.

HOW A FIELD SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

They will install the Fire Control Computer II and complete system checkouts on the Dismounted 120mm Mortar System, the Stryker Mortar Carrier and the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle.Will work with a team of highly experienced former mortarmen daily with over 100 years of combined experience.Will participate in daily after action reviews to address any problems that may have occurred.Our team consists of numerous former Infantry Mortar Leaders Course instructors who were considered as experts in their field.Additionally each team members will not only learn how to teach the Mortar Fire Control System but they will also learn how to install the system and its components into various military vehicles.Team members will utilize their experiences with mortars while serving to help develop new and innovative ways to train our current military.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalentRequired Experience: 2+ years of related experience as part of a mortar unitRequired Technical Skills: Must have obtained the Military Occupational Specialty of 11C (Army) or 0341 (Marine Corp).Security Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain a secret clearancePreferred Skills: Graduate of the Infantry Mortar Leaders Course, Attended and graduated from an Instructor Certification CourseLocation: RemoteUS Citizenship Required

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $25.07 - $33.93. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
