Purpose of Role: 

As a Field Service Supervisor, you will provide supervision to direct and indirect labour.

This hands-on role offers a blend of on-site and Service Centre responsibilities, focusing on fitting and maintaining various rotating and processing equipment. You'll work closely with the Site Service Manager and Area managers, ensuring smooth operations and top-notch service delivery.

Key Responsibilities: 

Provide customer services to execute site activities for site projects.Supervise site teams during customer site works.Completing repairs on critical equipment, including stripping, assessment, assembly, drawing amendments and machine maintenance on project works and service centre tasks.Creates a relationship with the customer through face-to-face contact, fostering trust and reliability.Provide technical advice/liaison/support to customersRecord, compile and author project reports.Working supervision of resources to execute tasks and activities within and to project milestonesMobilisation activities to be organised and implementedPreparation, acceptance and compliance of Job Safety Analysis documentation to customer satisfactionSupervision of resources with zero incident targetSupervision of trade resources to refurbish/restore components and equipment to design standards with completion and management of all documentation for company quality systemManage projects with budgeted hours and costsPrepare accurate time recording for customer authorisation and submission to business unitSupervision of resources with zero environmental incident targetIdentify opportunities to increase business revenue through variations to contract and activities associated with Weir business.Effectively manage crews performance and grievancesPlan and manage site resources and rosters in line with client requirements including effective management and allocation of over time/overcycle

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: 

5 years+ experience working as a Mechanical FitterExperience working on heavy industry equipment such as pumps, crushers, conveyors etc.Certificate III in Mechanical EngineeringExcellent communication skillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsPerform and be an advocate for safetyIntermediate to advanced MS Office (Excel and Word), SAP, Email
