As a Field Service/Support Engineer, you will provide highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems. Reviews and approves operational quality of system equipment. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Interprets customers’ needs and identifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales employees, or engineers. May promote the sale of service contracts
The Opportunity
Serve as lead to assigned customers; complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, maintenance, and service repair needs on designated instrument.
Provide excellent and efficient service to Roche’s customers, along with technical training on products, repair, maintain, and install product line(s). Complete on-time and accurate preventative maintenance and site service as needed
Travel throughout the district territory, experiencing all the various places our instrumentation is utilized. Document and report all repairs and product failures
Keep up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner, ordering repair parts, and adhering to cycle times
Help with the development of preventative maintenance procedures. Focus on customer needs and satisfaction, while building on and enhancing the relationship with the customer to ultimately become a perceived partner in their business
Must maintain learning plan in training database and regular product update training
Who you are
You should hold at least D3 / S1 in instrumentation or physics Engineering, Electrical (arus lemah) engineering, Electro Medic (ATEM) , Electronic engineering with at least a minimum 2 year working experience as service engineer in similar diagnostic or medical instruments is preferable
You should have a structural working attitude by detailed oriented in preparing all necessary requirements before going to the job site
