We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team, offering a competitive starting rate of $25 per hour. As a key representative of the company, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of pumps and related rotating equipment products. This role requires on-site, on-demand service to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and is perfect for individuals with strong technical and mechanical expertise. Responsibilities:

Perform installation, troubleshooting, and repairs of pumps and related equipment.

Conduct start-ups and ensure smooth operation of installed equipment.

Document evaluations, recommendations, and report findings in company systems.

Use service software for communication, scheduling, and job management.

Maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude to help grow our sales and service business.

Care for and maintain a company vehicle for service calls.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Contribute to the team with other duties as needed.

Competencies:

Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.

Proficient with precision measuring tools (e.g., dial calipers, micrometers).

Ability to perform laser alignment and equipment calibration.

Exceptional customer service and consultative communication skills.

Independent and team-oriented work ethic.

Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail.

Proficient in Microsoft Office or related software.

Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and piping layout.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Knowledge of safety procedures for hazardous chemicals and high-pressure equipment.

Requirements:

Prior experience in a similar technical service or field role.

Ability to work in diverse environments and under minimal supervision.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially when liaising with engineering, sales, and customers.
