Field Service Technician
Job Title: Field Service Technician Job Description We are seeking dedicated and skilled Field Service Technicians to join our team. You will be part of two dynamic Field Service Teams, including the CR team, which is a part of the Aftermarket parts Team. As a Field Service Technician, you will accompany products during shipment, conduct installations, and provide training for new clients or on new equipment. The role requires a mechanically inclined individual who is independent and possesses excellent customer service experience. Responsibilities + Install, service, and troubleshoot equipment as part of a full-cycle process. + Engage directly with clients and provide customer service support over the phone. + Disassemble and reassemble equipment efficiently. + Travel extensively, approximately 30-40 weeks per year, for installations and support. + Utilize PLC troubleshooting skills and interpret BOMs and blueprints. + Train client staff on new equipment and systems. Essential Skills + 2+ years of experience in a related field. + Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and industrial troubleshooting and repair. + Experience with PLC programming, including Allen-Bradley and Siemens. + Ability to read and interpret BOMs and blueprints. + Experience with AutoCAD 3D, Solidworks, and Inventor for design purposes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with reverse engineering. + Preferred candidates based in the Midwest, particularly Iowa or neighboring states. + Possession of a bachelor's or associate degree with hands-on work experience is ideal. + Willingness to travel extensively for work. Work Environment You will join a supportive and innovative work environment with a team of 100 people, 85 of whom work directly onsite. The field service team consists of about 15 people on the team all of which travel.
