Job Title: Field Service TechnicianJob Description An exciting opportunity awaits for two Field Service Technicians to join a dynamic integrator based in Holland, MI. These technicians will play a crucial role in supporting the engineering team onsite at customer locations. The position involves working closely with engineering support during the installation and setup of automated systems, following the design and pre-programming phases. The role requires a willingness to travel extensively, with travel commitments ranging from 30% to 50% across the United States. Responsibilities + Collaborate with the engineering team to support the installation of automated systems post-design and pre-programming. + Travel to various customer locations across the United States to assist with system installations. + Interpret and understand engineering prints and schematics to build and install panels, machines, PLCs, and other automation equipment. + Utilize troubleshooting skills to ensure proper installation and functionality of equipment. + Lead the assembly team and ensure detailed attention to assembling and installing automation systems at customer sites. Essential Skills + Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering schematics, BOMs, and prints. + Experience in the installation of automation equipment. + Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. + Familiarity with robotics and field service operations. + Competence in using hand tools for assembly and installation tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in working with automation, electrical, and mechanical systems. + Capability to lead and guide an assembly team effectively. + Attention to detail in building and installing complex systems. Work Environment This role involves working onsite at the company's location in Holland, MI, as well as traveling to various customer sites within manufacturing settings. The position offers a chance to grow into leadership roles within a rapidly expanding integrator in West Michigan. The work environment is fast-paced and requires adaptability to different settings and conditions. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
