Field Service Technician
Job Title: Local Field Service TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Local Field Service Technician to support our operations in the greater Miami area. This role involves performing preventative maintenance and on-site repairs across 14 stations and a local warehouse. As a key player in ensuring equipment functionality, you will have the chance to advance into a Field Service Technician/Trainer role as the team expands. Responsibilities + Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting across multiple field locations. + Conduct in-house repairs and diagnostics at the local warehouse. + Ensure all equipment is functioning optimally and meets operational standards. + Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams. Essential Skills + 1–3 years of experience in Electromechanical or Field Service OR a Technical College Degree. + Proficiency in soldering and board-level circuit repair. + Ability to read and interpret electrical and PCB blueprints. + Strong communication skills and comfort in client-facing environments. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with modular-level installations. + Familiarity with logic boards and firmware/software integration. Work Environment The work involves 50% local travel within the Miami area and 50% in-house repairs. Typical hours are 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with variations based on service needs. Work may be conducted indoors or outdoors depending on site location. All tools and travel expenses are provided. Compensation includes double pay on Sundays and time-and-a-half on Saturdays. This role offers the potential to advance to a Trainer/Lead position in 2026, with a focus on a positive attitude and cultural fit. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
