Field Service Technician
 

As a Field Service Technician at Branson, you will provide technical service and support for plastic-joining customers in Queretaro, Tijuana, and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing equipment, delivering customized training, and offering remote support. Requires 1-3 years of technical experience and a background in Engineering.

In this role, your responsibilities will be:

Responsibilities:

Perform on-site diagnosis and repair of equipment to Branson specifications. Deliver customized training programs on various Branson technologies upon client request. Provide timely remote support to clients via telephone or email. Authoritatively identify and resolve tooling setup issues on the client's production line. Apply strategic policies to achieve short-term results within one year, addressing moderate complexity challenges. Exert influence over external customers (clients) regarding procedures, practices, and policies in your area of responsibility.

Your competence in diagnosing and repairing equipment, coupled with your curiosity about tailored training programs, makes you an invaluable asset. Your strong communication skills and service-oriented demeanor ensure detailed interactions with clients, while your problem-solving abilities enable you to resolve issues. You're an excellent teammate with a keen eye for detail, ready to give to the success of Branson and Emerson Automation Solutions.

Requirements:

Relevant technical experience paired with a validated educational foundation in Engineering. Proficiency in reading and interpreting design and layout drafting. 1 to 3 years of technical experience. Educational background in Engineering (Automation, Electric, Electronics, Mechanical). Adept electro/mechanical skills (in electrical & electronics). Possession of a valid driver’s license and US visa. Service-oriented demeanor, capable of lifting 50 pounds and unfazed by travel requirements. Proficiency in English for effective communication. Conveniently located in the Queretaro area. Strong fixing skills and the ability to think on your feet.

Preferred qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar field service capacity. Additional certifications or training relevant to the role. Familiarity with ultrasonic equipment and its applications. Experience in plastic joining, metal welding, or cleaning solutions.
