Job DescriptionJob Summary:
As a Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for one of our customers from one of a variety of industries. This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including, wastewater treatment, media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, electro deionization, and ultrafiltration (UF).

Duties & Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance
Conduct critical and preventative maintenance and calibration activities on equipment.
Perform analytical testing such as: pH, COD, DO, Ammonia, ATP, TSS, 30-min settling tests, Phosphorus, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements.
Review lab data and make appropriate process changes based upon plant conditions and laboratory results.
Monitor, adjust and maintain chemical injection systems
Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts.
Carry out mechanical, electrical and control troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation.
Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed.
Consult with customer management and operation teams.
Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications.
Meet customer access requirements to sites.
Other duties as required.
Data interpretation, record keeping reporting and critical decision-making skills.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (List out required and preferred skills as applicable)
Knowledge of basic wastewater or water treatment.
Knowledge of basic computer skills.
Proficient in Google Suite or related software.
Ability to read, write, and communicate orally in English in a fluent manner.
Knowledge of preventative maintenance for pumps, bearings, blowers and general rotating equipment.
QualificationsEducation & Experience
Required:
High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent 2+ years’ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
A valid driver's license.
Preferred (if applicable):
Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation
Experience working with wastewater treatment technologies.
A TCEQ Class C Wastewater Operator’s License or higher.

Working Conditions Work is performed primarily outdoors in an industrial environment. May be exposed to release from surrounding complex or laboratory which may include but not be limited to: low level beta particles (Ni 63) radiation source, chemicals, solvents, electrical (instrumentation),fumes and odors, dust, toxic waste and other hazards associated with working in an industrial area.
