This is an indurstry that is rather unknown so we know that most will not have experience in this job role. That is why it will be an apprentice style learning until certified as a Field Service Technician. The Field Service Technicians are on job sites, performing the various testing, installs, and repairs necessary for each job site and recording all findings using our proprietary software, TANCS. Prior career paths that typically excel in our roles would be: HVAC, Plumbing, Mechanics, Electrician, Carpenters, and Cable Technicians.\n

We are looking for people who:\n\nHave a mechanical aptitude, any experience in trades, over the road driving, and\/or experience in any industrial\/commercial settings.\nCan lift up to 70lbs as well as stoop, bend, and kneel.\nAbility to climb 20ft extension ladder several times per day\nAdhere to a DOT physical & drug screen, DMV check, and background check, all of which are subject to applicable federal, state, and local law.\nCan be consistent with applicable laws and follow strict safety and technical protocols.\nAble to work independently (after you are trained that is) and has basic knowledge of computers, and\/or tablet or phones for data entry.\nAre able to communicate effectively.\nCan comfortably travel in a multi-state area, in some cases being away from home multiple nights in a row, hotels and a generous per diem is provided.\n\n

What are the primary responsibilities?\n\nPerform site assessments or surveys as well as associated procedures\nConduct leak tests on fuel storage tanks and piping\nInstall equipment and or testing of tank gauge systems\nEnter and analyze test results into company computer and be able to communicate any issues or findings to Operations team for further direction\nManage and report inventory of parts and supplies on company vehicle\n\n

Pay is base salary plus 5% of Revenue. Average starting salary is 42-44k plus 5%. Typical first year for new technician is 56-58k.\n
